Anthony Olumide Kamson D.O.

Anthony Olumide Kamson, DO is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction and total joint replacement, with expertise in robotic-assisted joint replacement and direct anterior total hip arthroplasty. He also has advanced training in revision knee and hip arthroplasty, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy, shoulder arthroplasty, and general orthopedic care.
Dr. Kamson completed his fellowship in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery with Total Joint Specialists, where he trained at one of the nation's most efficient surgery centers. There, he refined his skills in primary and complex revision procedures under the mentorship of leading experts in joint replacement. He is Board Eligible by both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and currently sees patients at the Hiram office.
He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA, after graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center - Pinnacle in Harrisburg, PA, and also trained in pediatric orthopedics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite Hospital.
Dr. Kamson has contributed meaningful research to the orthopedic community, presenting and publishing work on prosthetic joint infections, robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty, and the direct anterior hip approach. His accolades include Best Surgical Track Presentation at UPMC Pinnacle Medical Education Day and Top Abstract Presentation at the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedic Surgeons Annual Meeting. He is one of a select few recipients of the Professional Development Grant from the PCOM Alumni Association, recognizing his commitment to advancing orthopedic care through technology and innovation.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kamson lives in Marietta, GA, with his wife, two daughters, dog, and cat. He is a passionate basketball and football fan, cheering on the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks, and enjoys traveling and composing music as a drummer and percussionist.
