Andy F. Zhu, M.D.
Hand and Microvascular Surgery

Andy
F. Zhu, MD, is the newest member of Pinnacle Orthopaedics. Dr. Zhu is a Board Eligible Orthopaedic
Surgeon and is Fellowship Trained in Hand and Microvascular Surgery. His specialties include orthopaedic surgery
with an emphasis on hand, wrist, and elbow surgery. He treats both adult and pediatric
patients in the Hiram, Marietta and Woodstock locations.
Dr. Zhu was born and
raised here in Metro Atlanta. He graduated with highest honors from the Georgia
Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical
Engineering.Dr. Zhu then attended
medical school at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia where he
graduated at the top of his medical school class and was inducted into the
prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honors Society. He went on to complete
his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where he received
research grant funding and presented his research at several national meetings.
After completing residency training, Dr.
Zhu went on to further his training at Loyola University Medical Center where
he gained specialized training in Hand and Microvascular surgery.
He
lives in the Atlanta area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with
family, playing sports, and traveling.
